Distilled in 2026, this Hojari frankincense comes from the Dhofar region of southern Oman, long regarded as the source of the finest luban in the world. The green Hojari grade is the most prized of all, drawn from trees growing in the specific arid microclimates that give the resin its clarity and brightness. This oil was distilled in 2026 from that royal high grade raw resin.

This mukhallat comes from the personal collection of Sultan Qaboos of Oman. It is over thirty years old and a genuine one of one. Pieces like this were never sold. They were blended for the palace and gifted by the Sultan himself, which is why so few exist and why almost none reach the open market.
The blend is built around Bulgarian rose, saffron and royal Hojari frankincense on a heart of Mysore sandalwood, all bound together by aged ambergris. Nothing in it fights for attention. Each material is present in every whiff, distinct yet completely settled into the whole, the way only decades of maturation can achieve.
It opens sweet and warm, a soft ambery glow wrapped in buttery sandalwood. The heart is calm and unhurried, rose and saffron woven through clean Hojari frankincense. Beneath it all sits the ambergris, deep and smooth with no harsh edges, carrying the blend for hours on skin.
