Pure Oud Oils at Affordable Prices
Our Recommendation
Our Signature Sri Lanka oud is sourced from the lowland regions of Sri Lanka, where agarwood is known to produce lighter, smoother oils with a naturally clean profile. This origin contributes to its clarity and ease of wear, making it widely appealing.
The scent is light and smooth while remaining clearly present, offering immediate notice without heaviness. Its character leans toward damp, clean soil with a subtle aquatic freshness, supported by soft nuances reminiscent of ocean air and blue lotus. The overall impression is calm, fresh, and very easy on the nose.
This oil wears gently and comfortably on the skin, maintaining a clear presence without becoming overwhelming. Its smooth evolution and approachable nature make it an ideal starting point for those experiencing pure oud for the first time, as well as an easy, reliable option for regular wear.
Sumbawa 2022
Sumbawa oud originates from the island of Sumbawa in eastern Indonesia, a region known for producing oils that balance the depth of Indonesian oud with a smoother, more approachable character. The local agarwood often yields profiles that feel full yet refined.
The opening carries a familiar woody presence found across Indonesia and Malaysia, with a dark, bonfire-like warmth that settles quickly. Within around twenty minutes, the oil moves into its most recognisable phase, revealing a sweet floral tobacco note that is pronounced yet easy to enjoy. Despite being completely pure, the dry-down maintains a clean floral quality that many describe as lightly cologne-like.
The scent wears smoothly and consistently, continuing the floral tobacco direction into the base. Longevity is reliable, with the oil remaining present on the skin for many hours without developing harsh edges. Sumbawa is widely appreciated for its versatility, appealing to both newcomers and experienced oud users by offering depth and character without barnyard intensity.
Pontianak 2022
Pontianak originates from West Kalimantan in Borneo, a region characterised by dense tropical forests and agarwood that develops deep, confident scent profiles. Ouds from this area are known for their richness without the sharp bite found in some other Indonesian styles.
The oil is dark brown and opens with a strong, full presence that is immediately noticeable yet surprisingly easy on the nose. Its richness comes through straight away, with depth that feels smooth and controlled rather than aggressive. As the scent settles, the thickness of the distillation becomes more apparent, moving into a buttery, rounded phase that gently softens the initial intensity.
The dry-down maintains this smooth, balanced character, leaving a warm and steady oud note on the skin. Longevity is solid, with the scent remaining present for many hours without becoming unpleasant or harsh. Pontianak is defined by its strength and balance, offering depth and confidence with consistent, comfortable wear.
